The photography in the video clip is just as beautiful as it is in the film. So we began our investigation with the presumption that the footage was from a movie.

A reverse image search of the video key frames yielded a video with similar footage published by a YouTube channel on October 31, 2007. The channel description described it as a video clip from the 1988 film L'Ours .

A subsequent search for the film based on this clue showed that it is in French. The plot of the film is based on James Oliver Curwood's book "The Grizzly King." The 94-minute film's story revolves around the afterlife of a bear cub that loses its mother in an accident. This is the story of a bear cub who ventures out into the wild alone, encounters a large male bear, and works together to live in the mighty but dangerous wilderness. The story progresses as the bear cub learns through trial and error that the bear must always be on alert.

The film was shot in various places, including Italy's Dolomites, Germany, Canada, and Austria, according to Annaud's website.
