Old Unrelated Video From Ujjain Going Viral As Farmers’ Tractor Rally Demanding Protection Of The Aravalli Hills.

A video of a tractor rally went viral on social media claiming it to be a rally organised by farmers in Rajasthan, demanding the protection of the Aravalli Hills. The caption of the post reads, “Farmers in Rajasthan organised a massive protest by taking out a rally of more than 2,000 tractors to demand protection of the Aravalli hills. The demonstration comes in the wake of a recent Supreme Court decision and growing concerns over illegal mining and environmental damage. Protesters described the Aravallis as the “lungs of North India” and urged authorities to strictly enforce court orders to prevent further destruction of the ecologically sensitive range.”

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was misleading. The viral video is old and unrelated to the recent protest in Rajasthan. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to an Instagram handle where the viral video was uploaded on 17 September 2025. 

According to the caption, the video shows a farmers’ protest in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

This makes it clear that the video predates the recent protest in Rajasthan to save the Aravalli Hills.

Taking this clue, we conducted a relevant keyword search. This led us to a video report on a YouTube channel on 16 September 2025. 

According to the report, the video shows a protest organised by the Bhartiya Kisan Sangh, Ujjain against the land pooling scheme. 

We found several similarities between the viral video and the video report on the YouTube channel. A comparison can be seen below.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to the recent protest in Rajasthan.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is misleading. The viral video doesn’t show a tractor rally in Rajasthan demanding the protection of the Aravalli Hills. This is an old video from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, where a tractor rally was organised by the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh against the land pooling scheme.
