According to the website, “At around 5:50 p.m. on July 4, due to a brief period of intense rainfall, a mudslide occurred in Shenzugou, Badi Town, Danba County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Local villagers captured dramatic footage of houses and river embankments being destroyed.

According to local government authorities, residents from two villages -63 households totalling 133 people – had been evacuated in advance of the disaster. No casualties have been reported.”
