Recently, a video of a massive rally of RSS workers went viral on social media, claiming it was from Tiruvannamalai. Sharing the video, a user wrote, “RSS Workers at Tiruvannamalai Under Heavy Police Security. Jai Shree Ram”.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim is misleading. The viral video is not from Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to an Instagram handle where a video similar to the viral video was uploaded on October 10, 2025.
According to the caption, the video shows a rally of RSS workers in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
We found a similar video on another Instagram handle on 6 October 2025. According to the caption, the video shows a rally of RSS workers in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
Moving forward, we conducted a relevant keyword search that led us to a report on Dainik Bhaskar. According to the report, a grand march was held in Ratlam city to mark the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Volunteers from five suburbs gathered and marched from the Sailana bus stand intersection.

The reports mentioned the Sailana bus stand intersection. We tried to geolocate the place and it matches the place in the viral video.
This makes it clear that the viral video is old and not from Tamil Nadu.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is misleading. The viral video of the RSS rally is not from Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. This is an old video from Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
