However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is old and unrelated to the ongoing Aravali Hills protest. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check

The viral video contains two different clips.

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search.

First Clip

A reverse image search of the first clip led us to a YouTube channel where the clip was uploaded on 1 August 2025. According to the caption, the video shows a huge crowd of devotees with Gajanan Maharaj from Khamgaon to Shegaon.

We found a longer version of the video uploaded on the YouTube channel Divya Varhad Marathi on 31 July 2025.

The translation of the Marathi description read, “Lakhs of devotees march with the palanquin, the palanquin of ‘Shri’ returns home.. Video of the palanquin taken by a drone camera between Khamgaon and Shegaon”

A comparison between the screenshots from the viral clip and the YouTube video can be seen below.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to the Aravali Hills Protest.

Second Clip

A reverse image search of the screenshots from the second clip led us to an Instagram handle where the viral clip was uploaded on 22 June 2025. According to the caption, the video was from Hindkesri Pedgaon Maidan in Maharashtra.

A similar video was uploaded on a YouTube channel on 9 July 2025.

Other similar videos can be seen here and here where it’s been mentioned that the video shows a bullock cart race organised at the Pedgaon Hindkesri Maidan.

Previously, we debunked the same video that went viral with a different claim. Please read here.

This makes it clear that the viral clip is old and unrelated to the Aravali Hills Protest.

Conclusion

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show a massive rally by farmers in Rajasthan demanding the protection of the Aravali Hills. The clips in the viral video are old and unrelated to the ongoing protest demanding the protection of the Aravali Hills.
