Clipped Video Of Rahul Gandhi On Vote Chori Is Going Viral.

A video of Rahul Gandhi allegedly saying “Vote Chori is the reason behind the Pollution in Delhi” went viral on social media.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the video had been clipped. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a tweet on the X handle of Deccan Chronicle where a longer version of the video was uploaded on 14 December, 2025. In this video, Rahul Gandhi can be heard saying, “This vote chori is not just vote chori…this is an attack on Ambedkar Ji’s constitution. It is written in the Constitution that one person should get one vote. So, first of all, Vote Chori is an attack on Ambedkar Ji’s constitution and they are running the government by doing Vote Chori. They finished the small-scale traders, implemented wrong GST, did Demonetization, unemployment, and look at this pollution…all of these are happening, because they are stealing votes. You could have caught them in five minutes and thrown them out of the Government if they didn’t do Vote Chori. This is the truth. I would like to thank the workers of Congress…”

This makes it clear that Rahul Gandhi was saying that only because of Vote Chori, the BJP government is still in power. The viral video is clipped from the original video.

We conducted a relevant keyword search and found the full video of the event (Vote Chor, Gaddi Chor Maha Rally in Ramleela Maidan) on the official YouTube channel of Rahul Gandhi. 

This makes it clear that Rahul Gandhi’s video has been shared without context.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is missing context. The viral video has been clipped. Rahul Gandhi didn’t say that Vote Chori is the reason behind the pollution in Delhi. He said that the BJP government is still running the government only because of Vote Chori. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the BJP government finished the small-scale traders, implemented the wrong GST, and despite all the wrongdoings, they are still in power only because of Vote Chori.
