A controversy had erupted in the country on bursting crackers in Delhi during Diwali due to pollution and poor air quality. Many people had insisted that there should be no restrictions on the crackers.
Against this backdrop, a video of a huge fire cracker show is going viral on social media. People can be seen enjoying it on the streets. Social media users are sharing that this is a video of Diwali celebration in Dubai.
However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be misleading. This is an old video of UAE’s National Day celebration and has no connection with the 2025 Diwali festival.

Fact Check-
We first looked into the viral video in depth. We found that a car on the road had the word UAE written on it. You can see that below.
After this we ran a Google Reverse Image Search on a keyframe of the viral video. We found the same video posted on Facebook on 24 September 2025. The post claims to be from the celebration of Saudi Arabia’s 95th National Day.
We also found it uploaded to a YouTube channel on 2 December 2024. The caption says that this is a video celebrating the 53rd National Day of the UAE.
This made it clear that the viral video has no connection to the celebration of Diwali in 2025.
