Users who share the image claims that it shows Ramesh Chandra Tiwari, brother of former Chief Minister of UP and Madhya Pradesh ND Tiwari. The image has been circulating widely on social media, with claims that this is Supriya Shrinate and Ramesh Chandra Tiwari and the stories of love affair between the two have been in discussion for a long time.
Fact Check-
We performed a reverse image search on the image which led us to a tweet shared by Supriya Shrinate along with this image on her social media account in October 2020. At that time, she had posted it remembering her late father and wrote, “There’s nothing I am more proud of than being your daughter Papa. 4 years since you travelled to another galaxy but the sound of your laughter still rings aloud”.
Moving forward, we found Supriya Shrinate herself gave a befitting reply to this misleading post. She warned the user who posted the post and wrote, “You are talking nonsense about the picture with my father. Delete this post and apologize – otherwise, get ready for what legal action I will take against you You will regret it a lot – remember this I will not tolerate this at any cost”.
Conclusion-
Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral image to be False. This viral image shows Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate with her father, not with the brother of ND Tiwari.
