This viral video has been available online at least since May 2025, prior to the plane crash in Ahmedabad.

The Air India passenger plane from Ahmedabad to London carrying 242 passengers and crew crashed just moments after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport on 12 June resulting in the deaths of 241 people, with only one passenger surviving.
Against this backdrop, a video of many coffins is going viral on social media in the name of the dead bodies of those killed in this accident.
Let’s check the truth.
Fact Check-
We started our investigation with a Google reverse image search with the key frames of the video and whose result us to a similar video uploaded on an Instagram handle claiming it to be from Pakistan on 9 May 2025.
This indicates that the video predates Ahmedabad plane crash and it has no link to it.
Moving forward, we found the viral video was uploaded on a YouTube channel also on 11 June. Here also the video was said to be from Pakistan. This also predates Ahmedabad plane crash. So, it is clear that this video has no connection with the Ahmedabad incident.
As per latest updates, around 270 bodies have been recovered. Given the condition of the remains, authorities are relying on DNA testing for identification, which may take up to 72 hours per case.
Based on these evidences, we can understand that the viral video has no connection with the plane crash in Ahmedabad.
