A reverse image search showed that Al Jazeera had posted the same video on its official YouTube and Facebook pages on 9 November 2023.
The caption stated: “Violent airstrikes occurred near an Indonesian hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.”
On 9 November 2023, Israeli airstrikes hit multiple hospitals in Gaza, including the Indonesian Hospital, Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital, and Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
These strikes led to civilian casualties and severe damage to medical facilities.
They were part of Israel’s ongoing military action against Hamas. You can read more related information here, here and here.
CONCLUSION
The viral video does not show India’s Operation Sindoor. It is from November 2023 and captures an Israeli airstrike on Hamas in Gaza. Sharing it as an Indian missile attack is misleading.
