Below is the screenshot of a claim that recently emerged on Threads on March 11, 2025. The post states: “Netflix offers a reviewer program where participants are paid to watch unreleased movies and shows, categorize them appropriately, and ensure they are easy to find through searches. This role, known as a tagger, can be applied for at [a website].”
A similar claim appeared on Threads from another user, who stated that Netflix offers a payment of $16 to $38 per hour for the role. The post also included a screenshot allegedly showing the compensation details for the job.
Below is the screenshot of the post on Threads in late January, stating: “Now, this is what you call passive income! Netflix has launched the Movie Reviewer Program where you review unreleased movies, and you get paid $16-$38/hr. I applied a month ago, and look at my payment. I’m so grateful for this!”
Furthermore, a TikTok user shared a short clip, demonstrating that she received payment from the American streaming service for the job, which she described as both enjoyable and easy to earn money from.

Netflix has not made any public announcements regarding a new program where users are paid to review movies. If such a program existed, it would likely be promoted or officially announced by Netflix on its channels (such as the Netflix blog or social media platforms).
