However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was misleading. The match was between Australia and Pakistan. Here’s the Fact Check.

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a report published on 18 November 2024. The report contained an image similar to the screenshots from the viral video. The report read, “The third and final match of the T20 series between Pakistan and Australia was played on Monday, 18 November at the Ninja Ground, Tasmania where the host team defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. With this, they have also won this T20 series 3-0.
During this match, 21-year-old all-rounder Jahandad Khan got a chance to debut for Pakistan and he took one wicket for his team by giving 17 runs in 3 overs. However, during this time, an incident happened with him due to which he is being made fun of on social media.
Actually, while fielding during Australia’s batting, Jahandad Khan tried his best to stop the ball from crossing the boundary, but in the meantime when he dived, his trousers came off. Now the video of this incident is going viral and fans are making fun of him.”

Taking this clue, using relevant keywords we found a report published in The Times of India on 19 November 2024. The report contained an image similar to the screenshots from the viral video. According to the report, during the third T20I between Australia and Pakistan, Pakistani debutant pacer Jahandad Khan experienced an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. While chasing down a boundary hit by an Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk, Khan’s trousers slipped down, creating a hilarious moment that was caught on camera and quickly went viral.”
