
Recently a video of Shahrukh Khan with his daughter Suhana Khan and his manager Pooja Dadlani visiting a temple in traditional attire went viral on social media. Sharing the video users are claiming that the video shows Shahrukh Khan visiting Prayagraj Mahakumbh.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The video is old and not related to the Maha Kumbh. Here’s the Fact Check.

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a video report uploaded on the YouTube channel “ETV Bharat Madhya Pradesh” on 5 September 2023. We found a clip similar to the viral clip in the report. According to the description of the video, Shah Rukh Khan along with his daughter Suhana and actress Nayanthara visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati ahead of the release of his movie “Jawan”.
Moving forward we found a news report published in the Times Of India on 5 September 2023. According to the report that contained a video similar to the viral video, Shah Rukh Khan offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in the Andhra Pradesh hill town of Tirumala on 5 September 2023. The actor was joined by his daughter Suhana Khan, his “Jawan” co-star Nayanthara, her director spouse Vignesh Shivam, and other members of his crew.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to the Maha Kumbh.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video is not from the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The video shows Shah Rukh Khan visiting Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on 5 September 2023 ahead of the release of his movie “Jawan”.
