Targeting the Thai market, Nutri Diabet Gold is advertised as being approved by the Thai Ministry of Health and certified by the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

However, Thailand’s FDA has refuted the claims in the product’s marketing materials that it has approved the quality of Nutri Diabet Gold.

In a notice, the Thai FDA stated that this type of milk powder was advertised with false information intended to mislead consumers.

The product promotion also claims that Nutri Diabet Gold cow’s milk powder is certified by the U.S. FDA.

However, Janell Goodwin, a public affairs officer for the US FDA, confirmed to Fact Crescendo via email that the FDA does not issue approvals or permits for dietary supplements.

Nutri Diabet Gold is a dietary supplement and not a drug that requires approval from the US FDA. This product is not sold in the U.S. market.

According to its guidelines, the U.S. FDA requires that all dietary supplements distributed and sold in the US must be labeled to indicate that they are not intended to treat or cure and prevent any disease.

Below is advice from the U.S. FDA, stating: “One way to tell if a diabetes product is unsafe or ineffective is if it is marketed as a nonprescription product or dietary supplement.”
