The users who share the video claim that it shows the celebration of British people on Donald Trump’s victory.
Fact Check-
We started our investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to the same video uploaded on YouTube on 16 July 2018 with a caption, “Pro Trump Rally London MASSIVE UK Crowd London 14th July”. The description part states that “WE LOVE TRUMP ” Massive crowd for Pro Trump rally and Free Tommy Robinson protest Whitehall London 14 July 2018. This indicates that the viral video is neither recent nor related to the Trump’s victory.
Using this hint, we looked further and found many news reports regarding this event. This rally took place the day after a significant anti-Trump protest in London on 13 July, 2018, coinciding with an official visit by Trump to the U.K. Trump supporters and advocates of Tommy Robinson organized the pro-Trump and “Free Tommy” rally the following day, July 14.
The day after President Donald Trump left London following his three-day visit in the summer of 2018, there was a pro-Trump rally in the city that merged with a separate rally supporting a jailed British anti-Muslim activist who goes by the name Tommy Robinson.
