An image of a beautiful lush green curvy forest road is going viral on social media with a claim that it is located in Adilabad district, Telangana. Let’s check the truth

We started our investigation with the reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a similar image was published on the stock image website Alamy and the caption states, “Curvy Road in Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island in South Australia”.

Another stock image website named Flickr also carried similar viral image describing the location as Australia, contrary to the viral claim that the road is located in Adilabad District, Telangana. It was uploaded on 1 June,2012. The caption of this photo reads, ‘Amazing Road on Kangaroo Island on the way to Remarkable Rocks.’ 

A lot of related photos and videos are available on the internet with the same details. The Cape du Couedic road passes through Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island, in the state of South Australia.

Based on these evidences, we can understand that this viral image is of a road on Kangaroo Island, Australia not Telangana
