A 2022 video of PC George, a political leader from Kerala, making communal remarks targeting the Muslim community, is going viral on X (formerly Twitter). The user who shared the video claims that PC George, a member of the Kerala Congress, called upon Hindus and Christians, asking them to boycott restaurants run by Muslims. PC George cited the example of Sri Lanka and claimed that Muslims are attempting to take over India by rendering the non-Muslim population impotent.
In the video, PC George can be seen making a speech in Malayalam. The translation of his statement heard in the viral video is as follows: “Why are they not constructing malls in Malappuram? I asked them why are you not constructing malls in Kozhikode? The reason is they don’t want the money from Muslims, they want your money. Aren’t your daughters and children going to his mall? Is he not taking your money? No matter what, you should not give a single penny to such organizations. I recently saw a rush of 150 people for entering into an eatery run by a Muslim while an eatery run by a Nair was empty. This is the fault of our people. If you don’t act while keeping this in mind, then you will regret. I have heard from you guys. That there is a medicine being mixed in your tea. A single drop of this medicine will render you impotent. Men and women are being rendered impotent. In this way, they want to capture India. But you guys don’t pay attention to this and how much loss are we going to suffer because of it. I am saying this with utmost responsibility. For your own welfare, you must act.”
Although the user claims that George talked about an incident in Sri Lanka where a Muslim doctor was arrested for allegedly castrating many non-Muslim patients, George did not mention Sri Lanka in this clip. Many users have replied to the post and blamed the Congress party, believing PC George is a Congress leader from Kerala. You can see one such reply in the screenshot below.

However, PC George is not a leader of the Indian National Congress nor Kerala Congress but currently a leader of BJP. In addition, he was not affiliated to Congress or Kerala Congress when he made this speech. Here’s the truth.
