Recently a video of a patient on a stretcher in a critical condition went viral on social media. The video shows a patient being transferred to an ambulance. Sharing the video, users claimed that it shows renowned singer Zubeen Garg, who passed away on 19 September 2025.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is old and unrelated to Zubeen Garg. Here’s the fact check.
Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a longer version of the video uploaded on a YouTube channel on 31August 2025.
Although, the video has no detailed information about the video, it’s clear that the video predates Zubeen Garg’s death.
A similar video was uploaded on an Instagram handle on 22 July 2025.
After that, we took a closer look at the ambulance seen in the video. While the patient was being boarded into the ambulance, we noticed that the flashboard read Karakutty Angamaly.
These are the two places in Kerala. The distance between the two places is 4.1 km.
The number plate of the ambulance in the video suggests that it’s registered in Kerala (KL).
Zubeen Garg died in Singapore and his mortal remains were brought to Guwahati via Delhi by air.
This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to Zubeen Garg.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral video doesn’t show Zubeen Garg being transferred to an ambulance. The video is old and unrelated to Zubeen Garg’s death.
