A video featuring Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav is going viral on social media. The users who share the video claims that the actress would campaign for Tejashwi Yadav for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

The caption of the post states, “Bollywood’s dream heroine Raveena Tandon will campaign for Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar”.

The same video is going viral on Facebook also.

Fact Check- 

We started our investigation by conducting a keyword and reverse image search on Google and the results led us to the similar video uploaded by Tejashwi Yadav on his official Instagram account on 16 November, 2024, captioning it: “Met the famous actress Raveena Tandon at the airport today.”

Moving forward, we found that official YouTube channel of Rashtriya Janata Dal also uploaded the same video on 16 November, 2024. As per the video description, the actress had met Tejashwi Yadav at an airport. 

In November 2024, news outlets Dainik Bhaskar and Prabhat Khabar reported that Tandon and her daughter Rasha Thadani visited the Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar, Jharkhand, and met Yadav at the VIP lounge of Deoghar Airport before heading back to Mumbai. Yadav was in Deoghar to address election rallies for the then Jharkhand-assembly elections.

Next, we checked to see if any credible news reports or official social media announcements supported Raveena Tandon’s campaign for Tejashwi Yadav in the upcoming Bihar Assembly election. The search, however, yielded no reliable results.

Conclusion-
