Prime Minister Modi was the chief guest at the 50th anniversary celebrations of Sikkim’s statehood on 29 May 2025.Another video of the same occasion was found to have been posted on the Facebook account of Sukhim Yakthung Sapsok Songchumbho on May 30, 2025.
The description states, “We, the Sikkimese Limboo Tribe, under the banner of Sukhim Yakthung Sapsok Songchumbho, were eagerly prepared to extend a warm welcome to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on his scheduled visit to Sikkim on 29th May 2025, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Sikkim’s Statehood.
