Fact Check-

We started our investigation by running a Google reverse image search and the results led us to the same video uploaded on the Instagram handle of a saree shop called Agarwal Sarees on 20 August 2025.

The caption of the video reads, “60th day of Big Sale 2025 Agarwal Sarees”. This shop is in Udaipur, Rajasthan, there was a big sale going on in their shop. We see a crowd of women who came to buy sarees in this sale. This viral video predates the Bihar bandh on 04 September 2025. So, it is clear that this incident has no connection with the Bihar Bandh.

We went through the page and found more such videos listed in the grid showing the sale day as stated in the caption.

A video on Agarwal Sarees’ YouTube channel also mentions that their shop is located on Maldas Street, Udaipur, Rajasthan, and even shows the route to the shop. We also searched for Agarwal Sarees and Suits on Google Maps and found that it is on Maldas Street. The photos and videos available on Google Maps also confirm that the viral video is of this shop. It is clear that it has no connection with Bihar.

Taking account of this evidence, we can understand that this viral video is from Udaipur, Rajasthan, where a huge crowd had gathered at a shop named Agarwal Sarees during a promotional sale.

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. This video is from a sale at a saree shop in Udaipur, Rajasthan on 20 August 2025. It has no link to Bihar.
