Fact Check-

By closely analysing the viral video, we noticed the logo of Manorama News, a Malayalam media outlet and a keyword search on the internet led us to several reports from March 2025 for the same video.

As per the report, this incident happened during a violin performance by a young artist named Ganga Sasidharan during a temple festival in Alappuzha, Kerala. Police authorities asked organisers to halt the performance of Ganga, since they had over the time restriction for live music. She was performing at the Kottamkulangara temple. Since it was 10 pm, the police came in front of the stage to ask for the program to stop. The viral video shows her shock at the sudden influx of police in the concert. Ganga Sasidharan is a young and talented violinist from Kerala. She is known for her mesmerizing performances of violin from the age of seven.

In Alappuzha district, public events using loudspeakers are generally restricted after 10:00 PM. The use of loudspeakers and amplifiers is discouraged, and prior permission is required for their use, especially between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM according to the Kerala Police
