Anjana Om Kashyap Apologizing To People? Here’s The Truth Behind The Viral Video.

Recently a video of journalist Anjana Om Kashyap went viral on social media. In the video, Anjana Om Kashyap can be heard apologising for not being trustworthy with the people and for speaking the language of politicians.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the viral video had been edited. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

At the beginning of our investigation, we noticed that the viral video had some abnormalities. There was no lip-sync. This indicates that the viral video could be edited. 

We took some screenshots from the viral video and conducted a reverse image search. This led us to a video uploaded on the YouTube channel Anjana Om Kashyap on 15 December 2023. The video matches the viral video but the audio is different. In this video, Kashyap can be heard welcoming the people present at the event. She further said, “I have been praised so much by this platform that there is a lot of pressure on me…”

Further investigation led us to a longer version of the video on the YouTube channel Anjana Om Kashyap uploaded on 17 October 2023. According to the caption, the video is from an event in Dubai. In this video, Anjana Om Kashyap can be heard talking about her journey from Bihar and praising Bihar. She didn’t mention anything as heard in the viral video.

A comparison between the viral video and conducting the YouTube video can be seen below. This makes it clear that the viral video has been edited.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the viral video has been altered. Anjana Om Kashyap was not apologising to people for her kind of journalism. In the original video, she was talking about her journey from Bihar and she praised Bihar.
