Fact Check-

We began our investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on Facebook on 30 June 2024 with the caption, “THE CRAZE IN KOLHAPUR, MAHARASHTRA FOR INDIA’S WORLD CUP WIN #T20WorldCup2024”. So, this viral video is not recent and not related to the celebration of RCB’s victory in Bangalore,

Apart from this, many other social media posts can be found regarding this. We came across an Instagram post carrying a similar video and it clearly showed board with Marathi text on it.

Using these hints, we looked for shops ‘Malkar sweet shop’ and found the same shop, lane and boards in Kavlapur, Kolhapur. We geolocated the spot to Bhausingji Road near Shivaji Chowk, Kavlapur, Kolhapur. The location in the video matches the view on Google Maps Street View.

Based on all these evidences, we can understand that an old video from Maharashtra’s Kolhapur is falsely shared as one from Bengaluru showing people celebrating RCB’s win in IPL 2025.

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo found that the claim made along with the video to be Misleading. This video is from Kolhapur and it shows celebrations following India’s victory over South Africa in the T20 World Cup in 2024.
