Fact Check-

A Google Reverse Image Search on a keyframe led us to the same video uploaded on an Instagram account on 2 May 2025. The caption reads, “They were forced back to Pakistan and a lot of their vehicles were burnt live by people.” We also found that the date mentioned in the video is 13 May 2024. “Battle of field Muzaffrabad” has also been mentioned in the video.

Another video was uploaded on a Facebook account on 15 May 2024. The caption reads, “Kashmiris Peltińg Stones At The Convoy Of Pakistani Security Forces In Pakistan Occupied Kashmir

Taking clues from the above two posts, we ran a keyword search on Google “Muzaffarabad, POK”. We found that an image similar to the place of incident in the viral video is available on various websites

As per the information available on Getty Images website, this is the location of the bend of Jehlum river at Muzaffarabad, Capital city of Azad Kashmir Pakistan.

Below you can see the comparison between the image taken from the viral video and from Getty Images website.

Conclusion:

Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. This is an old video  from Muzaffarabad in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and not from Kashmir, India. This incident is not of stone pelting on Indian soldiers.
