Old Video From Gaza Shared As An Indian Airstrike On Pakistan On 13 May 2025.

A video of an airstrike on a building went viral on social media claiming it to be an Indian airstrike on Pakistan on 13 May 2025.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is old and unrelated to the conflict between India and Pakistan. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to an Instagram handle of a journalist in Gaza where the viral video was uploaded on 19 August 2024. According to the caption, the video shows a residential building in Nuseirat camp, Central Gaza, being hit by an Israeli airstrike.

A similar video was uploaded on a verified YouTube channel on 19 August 2024. According to the caption, the video shows an Israeli airstrike on a residential tower in Nuseirat, Central Gaza Strip.

According to the text overlay on the video, the credit for the video was given to “majdi_fathi”. We searched for this social media account and found an Instagram handle “majdi_fathi” who is a freelance photographer in Gaza, Palestine. We found the viral video on this Instagram handle uploaded on 19 August 2024. According to the text overlay on the video, it shows an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Nuseirat, Central Gaza.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and unrelated to Pakistan.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The video video doesn’t show an Indian airstrike in Pakistan. It’s an old video from Gaza.
