Fact Check-

We started the investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to the to a post by the Britain First party on Twitter uploaded on 18 September 2024. The caption states, “British police adore foreigners but hate British patriots. Where are they on St George’s Day? Arresting patriots for flying the English flag?”.

This indicates that the viral video is old and has no connection to the recent conflict between India and Pakistan.

Moving forward, we found an Instagram post of American Muslim Today, which covered the same event. The description states, “In a display of unity and cultural celebration, police officers in UK joined the Pakistani community on August 14th to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The event saw joyous festivities and camaraderie as British police participated in the celebrations, highlighting a heartwarming connection across nations and communities”.

So, the viral video claiming to show Pakistanis celebrating victory against India in 2025 is misleading.
