We started our investigation by performing a reverse image search with the key frames of the viral video and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on the YouTube channel of Faridabad News on June 25, 2022. And, the title of the video is, “Terrorist caught at Faridabad Metro station is wrong, it is part of CISF mock drill, it is correct.”

Moving forward, we found we found a tweet on the official account of Faridabad police which clarifies that the viral video is of a mock drill. on 26 June 2022, that the video was from a CISF mock drill and not related to any terrorist arrest.

Thus, taking account of all these evidences, we can understand that an old video of a security mock drill from Faridabad is falsely shared as footage of a terrorist arrest at the metro station. The viral video is old and not related to the recent India-Pakistan conflict.
