We started our investigation by performing a reverse image search with the key frames of the viral video and the results led us to a similar video uploaded on YouTube shorts on 21 February 2025.

The description states, Terrible fire in Khilgaon, capital, one cylinder after another explodes. Khilgaon is in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This indicates that the video is not recent and has no link to India-Pakistan conflict.

As per the reports, “At least 20 shops, mostly garages, and two sawmills were burned in a fire that broke out in Khilgaon’s Taltola area in Dhaka on 21 February evening. The fire erupted in a densely packed garage area located behind Khilgaon Police Station.

The area comprises multiple vehicle garages situated in close proximity to each other. The incident triggered panic among the residents as flames and smoke were visible from a considerable distance. The fire also led to a temporary power outage in the area. The cause and full extent of the damage remain unclear, though no casualties have been reported so far. The situation worsened as flames engulfed the garage, igniting cars and setting off loud blasts—likely from exploding cylinders or equipment.

Thus, taking account of all these evidences, we can understand that an old video of massive fire from Bangladesh falsely shared as Pakistan’s attack on India. The viral video is old and not related to the recent India-Pakistan conflict.
