Old Video From An Iranian Missile Attack On Israel Going Viral As Indian Missile Attack On Pakistan.

A video of a missile attack went viral on social media, claiming it to be an Indian missile attack on Karachi, Pakistan, during Operation Sindoor.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The video is old and unrelated to Operation Sindoor. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to an Instagram post where the viral video was uploaded on 2 October 2024. According to the caption, the video shows an Iranian missile attack on Israel

Taking this clue, we found a similar video uploaded on a YouTube channel, On Demand News, on 2 October 2024. The video shows an Iranian missile attack on Israel.

We found a video report published on Al Jazeera on 2 October. From the timestamp 0:00 to 0:19, we could see a clip similar to the viral video. According to the report, the video shows the Iranian missile attack on Israel on 1 October 2024.

Similar videos can be seen here and here.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old. It shows an Iranian missile attack on Israel in October 2024.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The video doesn’t show an Indian missile attack on Karachi, Pakistan. The video is old and shows an Iranian missile attack on Israel in October 2024.
