Fact Check
We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to tweet on 11 August 2024, where the viral video was uploaded. The translation of the Arabic tweet read, “A video documenting the moment the occupation bombed a house in Gaza City.”
We found the same video uploaded on a Facebook page on 11 August 2024, and according to the caption, the video was from Gaza.
The same video can be seen here and here.
This makes it clear that the viral video is old and shows an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
