However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral video is old and unrelated to Operation Sindoor. Here’s the fact check.

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a Facebook post where the viral video was uploaded on 17 January 2025. The user wrote that the video is from America.
We found the same video on an Instagram handle uploaded on 13 January 2025. The user wrote that the video is from America.
A similar video was uploaded on Threads on 19 January 2025.
Although we couldn’t find the details of the video, it is clear that the viral video predates Operation Sindoor.
Conclusion
From our investigation, we can say that the claim is misleading. The viral video predates Operation Sindoor and is unrelated to the incident.
