Scripted video goes viral as real incident of a child being kidnapped at Delhi’s Rajiv Chowk metro station

A video of boys kidnapping a child from a metro station has gone viral on social media with a claim that a child being kidnapped in broad daylight from Rajiv Chowk Metro in New Delhi. The post is being shared as if the video shows a real incident.

Fact Check- 

We started our investigation by conducting a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to a similar video uploaded to the YouTube on 24 March 2025 by a person named Raj Thakurrr. The description part states, “The video is totally scripted and not real. All content is just for entertainment purposes and awareness, not hate speech.”

Upon further search we found the same video was uploaded on his Instagram page also. The post states, “This Video Is Totally Scripted Not Real All Content Just For Entertainment Purpose And Awareness Not Hate Speech.” This indicates that the video is entirely scripted and does not depict a real incident.

Further, to confirm the details, we scanned through other videos uploaded on the YouTube channel and found many scripted videos like the viral video. The verified YouTube channel has around 752K subscribers, and lists 549 videos so far. We also found a link to Naveen Jangra’s Instagram account in the About section of his YouTube channel. 

In the bio of his Instagram page, he states that he is a video creator from Delhi.

So, it is clear that the viral video claiming to show a child is being kidnapped from a Delhi metro station is not a real incident, only a scripted video.

Conclusion- 

Fact crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. This video does not show a real incident. It is a scripted video created for entertainment and awareness.
