The Image Shows Saif Ali Khan After He Was Stabbed? No, The Viral Image Is From A Movie.

Recently a man broke into the house of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and stabbed him six times with a knife. The actor was rushed to the hospital, and after 6 days of treatment, he was discharged from the hospital on 21 January. On this backdrop, a photo of Saif Ali Khan with severe wounds went viral on social media claiming it to be his image after the attack.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim was false. The viral image of Saif Ali Khan was from a movie instead. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a report published in The Times of India on 7 October 2019 that contained the viral image. According to the report, the image shows Saif Ali Khan’s look in the movie “Laal Kaptaan”.

We found the image on a website where the viral image was mentioned as a behind-the-scene photo from Laal Kaptaan.

We found a tweet from the X handle Saif Ali Khan Online on 8 October 2019 where the image was shared as a behind-the-scene photo from the movie Laal Kaptaan.

This makes it clear that the viral image doesn’t show Saif Ali Khan after the recent attack on him. The image is from the movie Laal Kaptaan.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The viral image doesn’t show Saif Ali Khan after he was stabbed. The image is actually from the movie Laal Kaptaan.
