Fact Check-

We started our investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to an article by Marine Insight titled “Watch: Fire Erupts In Cargo Ship’s Engine Room At The Israeli Port Of Haifa”.  The report states, “A Turkish-owned cargo ship named Yaf Horizon caught fire while it was docked at the Israeli Port of Haifa on 10 June 2024. The vessel arrived from Russia carrying iron or steel cargo and was stationed at Israel Shipyards in Haifa’s Kishon area when the fire broke out.”

Moving forward, we found news reports of ‘safety4sea’ published on 11 June, 2024 “According to news, on 10th June a fire erupted on a Turkish-owned cargo ship, Yaf Horizon, while it was docked at the port of Haifa, leading to a significant emergency response.”

Thus, taking account of all these evidences, we can understand that the footage was taken in June when the Turkish-owned vessel’s engine room caught fire.

Conclusion-

Fact crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be Misleading. The viral video shows a fire which broke out in the engine room of a Turkish owned ship, it has no link to the recent Hezbollah-Israel conflict.
