Screenshot From A Parody Account Of Donald Trump Is Going Viral As Real.

Recently a screenshot of a tweet allegedly from US President Donald Trump calling Rahul Gandhi a “Soros Agent” went viral on social media. The viral screenshot shows Donald J Trump replying to Rahul Gandhi when he congratulated Trump on his victory.

However, as we investigated, we came to know that the claim is False. The tweet was not made from the official X handle of Donald Trump. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check 

We started our investigation by conducting a relevant keyword search but we could not find any such tweet from Donald Trump on his official X handle. 

The official X handle of Donald J Trump is “@realDonaldTrump”. 

On the other hand, in the viral screenshot, the name of the account was “Donald J Trump Par…” (@thedonaldtrumph).

We searched for this account and it turned out to be a parody account. The full name on this account was written as “Donald J Trump Parody“. 

The bio section mentioned it to be a fan account managed by an X user Ashwini Shrivastava (@AshwiniSahaya). The viral tweet was there on this Parody account of Donald Trump.

Going through the X handle of Ashwini Shrivastava, we found his tweet on 6 November 2024 where he wrote, “Hello, everyone! How are my replies from @thedonaldtrumph to Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, @JustinTrudeau & Khalistanis?

Some people are claiming this account @thedonaldtrumph is run by the BJP IT Cell, but I’m definitely not part of the IT Cell. 

Yet, I think I’ve done more damage to RaGa and Trudeau than any IT Cell could.”

However, we found Rahul Gandhi’s tweet on 6 November 2024 congratulating Donald Trump on his victory.

This makes it clear that the viral screenshot is actually from a Parody account of Donald Trump managed by a fan.

Conclusion 

From our investigation, we can say that the claim is false. The tweet in the viral screenshot, where Donald Trump is calling Rahul Gandhi a Soros Agent, is not from the real X handle of Donald Trump. It’s a parody account of Donald Trump managed by a fan.
