However, as we investigated, we came to know that the video is old and unrelated to the recent US Presidential Elections. Here’s the fact check.

Fact Check

We started our investigation by taking some screenshots from the viral video and conducting a reverse image search. This led us to a video uploaded on the Republic World YouTube channel on 22 September 2019. The caption of the video read, “‘Howdy Modi’ Event: PM Modi Introduces US President Donald Trump Before A 50,000-Strong Crowd”. From the timestamp 6:01 of the video, the viral clip can be seen.

It is worth mentioning that “Howdy Modi” was a community summit and mega event held on 22 September 2019 at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, United States. Organized by the Texas India Forum, the event highlighted the contributions of Indian Americans to American society and the strong cultural and economic bonds between India and the United States. Over 50,000 people attended the event, making it one of the largest receptions for a foreign leader in the United States.

A news report on the event can be read here. Archived Link.

A similar video was found on the official YouTube channel of the BJP uploaded on 22 September 2019.

This makes it clear that the viral video is old and not related to the recent US Presidential Elections.

Notably, this remark by PM Modi sparked controversy at that time. However, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that PM Modi’s remark should not be misinterpreted. He said that India has a very non-partisan approach to domestic politics in the US. In the “Howdy Modi” event, PM Modi was referring to what Donald Trump had said earlier to endear himself to the Indian American community during his presidential campaign.

Donald Trump used the term “Ab ki baar Trump Sarkar” in an ad campaign for the 2016  US Presidential Elections.

Conclusion

From our investigation,  we can say that the claim made with the viral video is missing context. The video is old and not related to the recent US Presidential Elections.
