A video depicting a man lying under a moving bus on a road is going viral on social media as a real incident from Hyderabad. The caption of the video states “In a bid to make #reel, a youngster risked his life by doing a dangerous stunt by suddenly lying on the road in front of a running bus in #Hyderabad. The stunt video is now going viral on #SocialMedia, triggering outrage among netizens.”

A closer look at the video might lead one to think that it has been modified, since we found a few flaws in this viral clip. For example, there was no shadow cast by the guy running down the street, despite the fact that all other vehicles did.We also noticed that the white lines drawn on the roads blurred, vanished, or even changed positions when a person crossed them.

However, within hours of the video going viral, the official handle of the Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) issued a clarification that the incident shown in the video is not real. He adds that such videos would bring disrepute to the RTC. He also warned that there was a danger of others imitating the feat in the video which is likely to prove fatal. He said that the TGSRTC management was considering such act serious and would initiate legal action against those who posted the video.
