A keyword search on Google led us to the same video uploaded on ABP News YouTube channel in 2017. The caption reads, “Jan Man: UP CM Yogi Adityanath break into tears during an event for martyrs”
According to a report by Zee News, the event was held in Gorakhpur during Diwali in honor of the martyred soldiers. During the event Yogi Adityanath was spotted crying while hearing a song from a movie related to soldiers.

Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. An old video of Yogi Adityanath crying during an event organized for martyred soldiers went viral related to BJP’s defeat in UP in 2024 general elections.
