According to the AI content detection tools the image was generated by Artificial Intelligence

An image showing a group of women dressed in military uniform eating on the roadside at a location at what appears to be an army camp has gone viral on social media with a claim that Indian Army women soldiers eating food on the road while on duty in the scorching heat in Rajasthan.

The caption of the post states, “Indian Army women soldiers eating food on the road while on duty in 48° sun in Badmer, Rajasthan, border of India…Pakistan. You should admire not those who wear make-up and dance in short clothes. These are real heroes, Jai Jawan Jai Bharat”.

However, the image is suspicious at first appearance, so let’s verify what the facts are.

Fact Check- 

We analysed the image carefully and we found several irregularities in the viral image akin to the ones seen in AI-generated images. For example, two of the soldiers had an extra set of hands.

There are some tools available to check if an image is AI generated. When tested with such a tool (Hive AI Detector) , the results suggested that the image is 100% likely to be AI-generated.

We also tested the viral image on AI or Not, which also predicted that the image was likely AI. 

From these evidences, it is clear that an AI-generated image of women in military uniforms is being shared as a real image.

Conclusion- 

Fact Crescendo found that the claim made along with the viral image to be False. AI-generated image of women in military uniforms is being shared as a real image.
