Fact Check-
A Google Reverse Image Search led us to the same image uploaded on an Instagram account on 11 April 2024. The caption of the post reads, “Yesterday’s total solar eclipse according to AI”
We found many such images of heavenly bodies in the same Instagram account. We also found that this account educates interested ones about astronomy and science through photography and news-media.
After this we ran a search on a website to detect if an image is an AI generated or a real image. We found that the viral image is probably 94% AI.
