According to the AI content detection tools these images of Virat Kohli have been generated by Artificial Intelligence

A sand sculpture of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, has gone viral on social media. The images have been shared on social media with the claim that this beautiful sculpture was created by a child. In one image, the boy is shaping the statue with his hands, while in another, he is seen working on the sculpture with a brush. The caption of the post states, “Beautiful artwork of child, made Virat Kohli’s statue”.

However, the sculpture seen in these images is suspicious at first appearance, so let’s verify what the facts are.

Fact Check- 

We analysed the image carefully and we found that Virat Kohli’s sand sculpture has a smooth finish like a painting. These images raised doubts that a sand sculpture could not have such a finish. Usually images produced by AI (Artificial Intelligence) can be seen with such clarity and smoothness on the surface. 

There are some tools available to check if an image is AI generated. When tested with such a tool (Hive AI Detector) , the results suggested that the image is 100% likely to be AI-generated.

Another AI content detection tool known as Hugging face also identified this as an AI-generated image. 

From these evidences, it is clear that the images are AI-generated.

Conclusion- 

Fact Crescendo found that the claim made along with the viral image to be False. According to the AI content detection tools these images of Virat Kohlihave been generated by Artificial Intelligence.
