The video is old, and it is not from India. It has been available on the internet since June 2020 in the name of Bangladesh.

A video of a foreign female visitor resting on a beach with locals lining up to watch her has been circulated, claiming to be from India. In the video, a woman is heard expressing that she wants to share the breathtaking scenery because she is on the beach. However, the sea is not visible since it is obscured by a vast gathering of men observing her. This short video is accompanied by the caption, “Throwback to my visit to India.”

The caption states, “A girl went to a beach during her vacation in India and this is what she saw.”

Fact Check- 

We started the investigation with a reverse image search on Google and the results led us to the same video posted on TikTok on 1 September, 2023. The title reads, Girl Tryna take the sun on beach in Bangladesh.

In further search we found the same video on YouTube. The video was also posted with a mention of Bangladesh. The video was uploaded on 25 June 2020 with a title “White woman on the beach somewhere in Bangladesh enjoying the view?”

The same video was posted again in 2021 as well which to mentions it is from Bangladesh. The caption states, “Guys staring at woman on a beach”.

Thus we can understand that this is an old video from Bangladesh where a crowd gathered to see a foreigner at a beach falsely shared as India.

Conclusion- 

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False.The viral video showing a large group of people staring at a girl lying on the beach is old and not from India. The video is from Bangladesh.
