It is clear that this is not a recent video. This video is available on social media from 2023. But is this video from Pune? Let’s check the facts.

We found an Instagram ID ‘@vishu_bhoir111’ written on the above video. He shared the video on his Instagram account on 30 April 2023. The caption of the video says, “Bhiwandi-Kalyan area”

A Google Reverse Image Search on a keyframe led us to the same video uploaded on Lomat Times Facebook Page on 21 April 2023. According to the information, this video is from the Bhiwandi-Kalyan area of Mumbai. There was a heavy traffic jam in the area. To avoid that people were riding through the pipes lying beside the road.

Vishwajit Bhoir shared the same video on his Facebook account and drew attention to the lack of infrastructure in Kalyan. He tagged Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, local MP and other political leaders raising questions on how long common people will continue to suffer.

Based on the above information, we looked for the location on Google Maps.

Conclusion:

Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The viral video is not from Bengaluru but an old video from Bhiwandi-Kalyan region of Mumbai.
