Has Ronaldo arrived at the Ambani pre-wedding bash? Know the truth.

The whole nation and the world witnessed the year’s biggest event, with celebrities from all walks of life flocked to Jamnagar in Gujarat to attend billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash recently. Billionaires from around the world, heads of state, and Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities attended the three-day pre-wedding spectacle.

Following this, a video featuring footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez walking into an event in formal attire, is going viral on social media. Users who shared the post claim that it showed the couple taking part in the celebrations.

Fact Check- 

We started our investigation by running a reverse image search on Google, whose results led us to an Instagram handle, named Cristiano.ronaldo7_where we found the same video uploaded on 29 October, 2023 with a caption, “Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina arriving for the Fury vs Ngannou fight.”

In further search we found a report by the Hindustan Times from 29 October 2023, Ronaldo was present for the boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Apart from Ronaldo, boxer Conor McGregor, businessman and wrestling promoter Vince McMahon and wrestler The Undertaker were present at the event.

Taking account of these evidences we can understand that Ronaldo and his partner attending a boxing bout has been falsely shared as the footballer and his partner attending the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani. 

Meanwhile we checked if there are any news reports or media coverage about the couple attending the pre wedding event in Gujarat. But we could not find any, so the claim of Ronaldo attending Anant Ambani –Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding event in Jamnagar is false  

Conclusion- 

Fact Crescendo found that the claim made along with the viral video to be False. This viral video was captured while Ronaldo and his partner were attending a boxing match in October 2023.
