This photographer’s image is from a 2019 football match. The photographer broke down in tears after his national side lost a match.

The consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya took place on 22 January with Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing the rituals. Several visuals of people celebrating the consecration have been shared online.

 Amidst this, an image of a teary-eyed photographer has gone viral on social media with the claim that the photographer got so emotional after seeing the idol of Rama during the consecration ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Temple.

Fact Check- 

We started our investigation by running a Google reverse image search which revealed that the image of this photographer with tears in his eyes is from 2019. The name of the photographer seen in this photo is Mohammed Al-Azzawi . He is a citizen of Iraq. AFC Asian Cup 2019  football tournament was held in UAE in January 2019. In this, there was a match between Iraq and Qatar on January 22. Qatar   won the match 1-0 . Photographer Mohammed Al-Azzawi was present on the field during the match. 

Photographer Mohammad cried after seeing the defeat of the Iraqi team by Qatar. This picture of him was very famous at that time. This photo was also shared by the official account of Asian Cup on 24 January 2019.
