Is this a video of drone practice for Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha? Know the truth.

The Pran Pratishtha of Shree Ram’s idol in Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir took place today. PM Modi along with other 8000 VIP guests attended the ceremony. Many posts and videos regarding this ceremony are going viral on social media. In one such video, a beautiful drone show can be seen making various shapes in the night sky. 

Users are claiming that this is a video of the practice session of the drone show that was scheduled for 22 January for Ayodhya Ram Mandir. 

However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. This is an old video of a drone show held in the USA and is not related to Ram Mandir.

Fact Check- 

A Google Reverse Image Search on a keyframe led us to the same video uploaded on LinkedIn two months ago. This video was posted by a user carrying the name ‘Firefly Drone Shows.’ The Caption of the post reads, “700 DRONES ⚡️⚡️ Each drone produces 3,600 lumens. All of our drones are designed and built in house here in the USA! This is the brightest drone system in the world.”

A relevant keyword search on YouTube led us to a video uploaded on the Firefly Drone Shows channel on 18 January 2024. This video is a compilation of many short clips of various shows done by the organization in the year 2023. You can see few clips of the viral video 45 seconds onwards.

Conclusion: 

Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. The viral video does not show the practice session of drone shows to be held at Ayodhya on 22 January. This is an old video from the US and not related to Ram Mandir.
