Two different videos of drone shows have been combined together to falsely claim that the viral video depicts a drone show preparation for the Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration ceremony.
The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to be inaugurated on 22 January, 2024. The construction activities at the temple are in full swing to make it ready before the inauguration. Amidst this, a video of a drone show is going viral on social media with claims that it is a video of drone practice being performed before the prana pratistha of the Ram temple at Ayodhya. The caption of the video states, “Drone show practice for Ayodhya Ram mandir opening ceremony on 22Jan 2024”
Fact Check-
A Google reverse image search using the key frames of the video led us to a similar video was uploaded on Twitter on 23 November, 2023. With which such information was given that this video is from Deepotsav at Ayodhya.
In further search, we found the viral video was uploaded on YouTube by BotLab Dynamics on 12 November, 2023with the caption “Happy Diwali |Diwali 2023 | Drone Show | BotLab Dynamics
Upon further inquiry, we discovered another video uploaded by BotLab Dynamics on YouTube on 22June, 2023, that had some of the scenes featured in the viral video. The caption states “First Drone Show of Hyderabad” and the description states “The night sky of Hyderabad became brighter as our drones added a charm to the celebrations of ten years of Telangana as a state”.
Taking all of this evidence into account, we can clearly say that Two different videos of drone shows have been combined together to falsely claim that the viral video depicts a drone show preparation for the Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration ceremony.
Conclusion- Fact Crescendo found that the viral claim is to be False. The video does not show a drone show preparation for the Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration ceremony. The viral video created with two unrelated old drone show footages.
