An image of the famous South Indian Actress Sai Pallavi has gone viral on social media. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, awards and was featured by Forbes magazine as one of India’s 30 under 30 in 2020.

The actress, Sai Pallavi’s image with a man where they both are seen wearing a garland is circulated with a claim that she is finally married. The viral posts mention that she proves love has no colour. Her fan page itself shared the post with the caption “Finally She got Married- And She Prove That Love Has No Colour. Hats off Sai Pallavi. #marriage #saipallavi”

Fact Check- 

By performing a simple reverse image search on Google, the results led us to the original image on Twitter. Christopher Kanakaraj, a film critic, has shared the original picture. Sai Pallavi is accompanied by Tamil film director Rajkumar Periasamy. 

This is a photograph of the pooja ceremony for the film SK 21, which was directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and starred Sai Pallavi as the female lead. This image of director Rajkumar Periasamy holding clapboard is being edited and circulated in such a way that the clapboard cannot be seen.

This is actually a picture of the pooja ceremony of the movie SK 21 starring actor Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy starring Sai Pallavi as the female lead. This image of director Rajkumar Periasamy with clapboard in his hand is being cropped and circulated in such a misleading manner that the clapboard cannot be seen.
