Video from Nagpur shared as Ram temple of Ayodhya

The viral video shows the interiors of the Ramayana Cultural Center established by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sanskritik Kendra at Koradi in Nagpur.

A video showing the interior of a building, decorated in a traditional and ornate manner has gone viral on social media. The video shows a large hall with golden decorations and detailed paintings on the walls. The caption states, “Inside views of Shriraam temple Ayodhya- final finishing work-going on- Jai shree Ram”.

Let’s check the truth.

Fact Check- 

By performing a reverse image search on Google, the results led us to a video uploaded on 8 July 2023 on YouTube channel named Nagpur Express. The video was captioned as, “ Koradi Mandir || Nagpur Ram Mandir (Koradi Mandir || Nagpur Ram Mandir) ” 

Also based on this clue we searched more on Google and found many photos and videos of the Ramayana Cultural Center established by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at Koradi in Nagpur. Ramayana Cultural Centre has been presented in an attractive way in pictorial form. The center is built in South Indian style on a three acre site. It is a two storied building. On the first floor scenes from the epic Ramayana are arranged in the form of various pictures.  From Maharishi to Tulsidas’s writing of Ramayana to the original story of Ramayana, a total of 108 paintings are presented in this gallery.  

Also, we got to know that this centre in Nagpur was inaugurated in July 2023 by President Draupadi Murmu. The President’s official account on Twitter had shared photos of the Cultural Centre’s inauguration on 5 July.

Meanwhile we checked the status of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and we found it is still under construction and expected to be completed by December 2024. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is the trust behind the construction of the temple. On 14 September, the general secretary of the trust, Champat Rai, shared a video on social media showing that the temple was still under construction.

Conclusion- 

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. The viral video shows the interiors of the Ramayana Cultural Center established by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sanskritik Kendra at Koradi in Nagpur. It has nothing to do with the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
